- THE WIZARD - Benjamin Arthur Ellis

(optional intro, "The Legend Of The Wizard")

-long ago, in another time
there lived a young man in his prime
who dallied not with maids nor rum
in order that he should become
A Wizard

-secluded in his wooded lair
he studied fire, water, air
the ancient laws of alchemy
and in time he came to be
A Wizard

-but as his powers came to hand
a darkness spread across the land
evil forces sought their purchase
demon army forward lurches
laying waste the peasantry
one thing they did not forsee:
The Wizard

-his time had come, this dark behest
his eyes rolled back, a man possessed
a voice welled up from deep within
incantations burned the skin of
demons, writhing, howled in pain
thunder, lightning, sheets of rain
the earth burned black, the moon, it froze
...but when the morning sun arose
the dark was gone, the demons slain
and no one soon would see again
The Wizard

(instrumental introduction...)

-he's boiling and he's mixing in his castle in the woods
he may be doing bad things, but who knows? it could be good
he's watching and he's waiting for his time to come again
and then you'll wish he was your friend

-he's a Wizard
A Wizard
